I assembled KXPA100 #333 this evening and have 2 assembly manual
suggestions.
1. Figure 4 on Page 6 and Figure 10 on Page 11 show the tabs for
attaching the cable shield oriented in the 12 o'clock position. I
assembled them that way and found the Ant1 and Ant2 coax to be stressed
at the connector when attaching the end panel. I rotated the tabs 90deg
counter clockwise so they're facing the 9 o'clock position and and found
it much easier on the coax. I also gave each tab a 45deg bend for less
pull on the coax.
2. Figure 6 on Page 8. The warning just above the picture says "Place
one lock washer between each standoff and the LPF board". Figure 19 on
Page 16 has a warning that says "If you failed to install two lock
washers under each standoff as shown in Figure 6 on Page 8...". I only
put one washer and mine seemed to fit okay. But they're conflicting
warnings.
Awesome kit which assembled in roughly an hour. Looking forward to
using it!
