Thanks, Don.
The labelling error probably has not bothered anyone else but I like to have the procedure clear before getting in too deep. I have built the amp since my posting yesterday and on the bench it is working nicely into a dummy load. Having the KXPA Utility running on the computer while testing is a handy feature that I was not expecting. Bernie. VK2WJ. I guess someone had a magnifier when the manual was written . Look for an*errata* coming to the Elecraft website soon! 73, Don W3FPR On 5/7/2014 2:45 AM, Bernie Wills wrote: > In several places in the KXPA100 Assembly Manual, including diagrams > and the inventory, reference is made to spacers 1/4" (6.4 mm) long. > The inventory lists 24 of these in the kit. The correction to the screw length was part of the errata for the manual, and it is now corrected in the latest KXPA100 manual on the web site.
