KXV3 RX ANT IN/OUT Question

Ken Widelitz
Does the RX ANT IN default to connecting to the RX ANT OUT? If RX ANT is not
selected by the K3, does the RX ANT IN go directly to the K3's RX ANT OUT?

RE: KXV3 RX ANT IN/OUT Question

Greg - AB7R
No.  RX ANT must be selected.  I have a QS1R SDR connected between RX IN and
OUT for use as a panadapter and it only works if you turn on the RX ANT
switch.

K3 Antenna mapping

hf4me
In reply to this post by Ken Widelitz
Is there something wrong with the antenna connection map in the manual?

Have the paths to the antennas changed from the published maps?

Is there a new map for configuring the antennas?

Should there be one with the buttons/menu items/indications listed for each
of the connection "branches"?

Not at all SIR.  I was simply trying to determine if the antenna map was incorrect or could be improved.

I don't see a reference to the RX OUT in the connection map.

Are you ridiculing my question?
