hi folks,
i dont need CW. So i think, i should change the keyerpotentiometer for a mike gain control. my question: is this possible and in which place i can build it? i think, it is possible at the plusside from C34 at the KSB2 SSB adapter. what do anybody thinking about this? 73 de dg3oo manfred __________________________________________________________ Mit WEB.DE FreePhone mit hoechster Qualitaet ab 0 Ct./Min. weltweit telefonieren! http://freephone.web.de/?mc=021201 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. It certainly is possible, but I would wonder why. The K2 has an automatic gain control for SSB. So long as you have sufficient audio from the mike, you shouldn't need to adjust anything. The other detriment is that you'd have to wire from the front panel board to the SSB board. I'd worry about signals you might pick up on the way introducing hum or other distortions.
