Hello,
I just received my K3 and when I connect it to the
PC via the rear line out jack,
I have receive audio on one channel and clicks on
the other channel.
I tried fiddling with the connections and can't get receive audio on both channels.
I am using a 1/8" stereo patch cord.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
Do you have the sub-receiver installed? If not, the right channel will not have any content. If you are driving external speakers, use the SPEAKER output jack. 73, Don W3FPR jkelly wrote: > Hello, > > I just received my K3 and when I connect it to the PC via the rear > line out jack, > I have receive audio on one channel and clicks on the other channel. > I tried fiddling with the connections and can't get receive audio on > both channels. > > http://mysite.verizon.net/jkelly/ham/clicks.jpg > > I am using a 1/8" stereo patch cord. > > Any ideas? > > Thanks, > > Jeff > KT2K > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Post to: [hidden email] > You must be a subscriber to post to the list. > Subscriber Info (Addr. I only have the main receiver. OK thanks.
Any way to assign the main receiver to both line outputs? Jeff,
No way to easily assign the main to both line outputs, and I am not certain why you would want to do that. Most soundcard applications for digital modes use only the left channel anyway. If you are feeding an external amplifier for purposes of listening, I recommend using the SPEAKER output - that can be assigned to 2 speakers and allows you to take advantage of the AFX effects. I use that output to drive a pair of computer type amplified speakers (the K3 can drive efficient non-amplified speakers directly, it has adequate audio output power). 73, Don W3FPR jkelly wrote: > I only have the main receiver.
