I am sure you can use 0.00 on CW. There is a delay after the K2's amp
keying circuit activates and before RF appears that is longer than the
Alpha requires to switch (unless the Alpha 99 is much slower than the 86
I had). There is also a reasonable post-RF delay at the 0.00 setting.
With SSB VOX, I don't know what to tell you. After all, unless you use
a sophisticated digital delay circuit (not built into the K2!), a VOX
circuit either has to clip the beginning of your speech or hot-switch.
Like using ALC to prevent splatter, VOX is one of those things that just
can't work.
