When I'm doing PSK31 on my KX3 I like to park on a frequency and use spot/rit to find responding signals. When I lock the frequency it always goes to 0.01 instead of 0.001 resolution. I find that PSK31 really benefits from 0.001 resolution.
So the answer is to leave it unlocked, but when I dive for the RIT button or VFO B knob, i'd say half the time i bump the main VFO knob.
So my request is, have lock lock on the last frequency resolution used.
