Loud Pop on CW

I keep getting a loud "Pop" on cw every now and then.  Its really deafing. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Tried different setting with the "AGC" but no luck.

I had a similar problem and setting AGC PLS to off in the menu seemed to
fix it for me. With AGC PLS on, it seemed to cause something that sounds
similar to AGC overshoot now and then when using CW.
