propagation. The TOA analysis shows
why. The blue line shows 12-15 dB at
low angles over the same antenna over
flat terrain (red line). This is also about
what Gus W4BPD reported about W3CRA's
signal from his many expedition stops.
I've been doing so modeling of
a similar location I hope to buy. It actually
shows the optimum height is about 40' for
that location on 20 meters.
