Thanks to both of you for your replies, it seems as if a SignaLink may work
with the SDR product going to check this out more. 73, Fred N0AZZ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Fred, perhaps you misunderstood.
To properly use the SDR version of this program, you need to present it with both I and Q signals (in-phase and quadrature). These would be routed into a 2-channel (stereo) soundcard. So, you need the I/Q output from the K3, provided by LP-Pan, SoftRock, or similar device. Then the 2 channel output needs to be connected to a stereo "soundcard" input on the PC. I don't believe the Signalink (USB?) is stereo, but I could be mistaken. Bruce it appears that you are correct after reading for a while, it appears
both of my radios cannot function with the same SDR software. Oh well I'll try it on my KX3 first thanks for the input I did indeed misunderstand. 73, Fred/N0AZZ -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Bruce Beford Sent: Sunday, November 24, 2013 12:54 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [Elecraft] MRP40 Fred, perhaps you misunderstood.
