MacLoggerDx and K3

M0XDF
it would appear the problem I was having with MacLoggerDX controlling
my K3 has been fixed in version 4.3.6b8 of MLDX (available from the
Dogpark web site).
It now sends a mode change regardless of current mode, every time it
changes the frequency and it now works very well (using a delay of 0ms
now :-).

Re: flashing NB icon question

Bill Steffey NY9H

I know I read about it somewhere but cannot find it ,,,,

when I turn on the IF NB  ...the NB flashes,  not the dsp nb...
did it mean too much garbage to fix ??

not all the time ,,,,

in fact It just stopped doing that ,,,ARG,,,,

so If my current noise is handled best by  dsp  2-7 that is indicating that
the garbage is X wide ???

bill

Re: flashing NB icon question

Iain MacDonnell - N6ML

Page 25 of the owner's manual says "(i) The NB icon will flash slowly if
the I.F. blanker setting is too high for the present signal conditions.
If this happens, use a lower setting."
