Manual Suggestion--K160RX

n7on
It's time for me to re-read the K2 manual.  I was recently wondering why
my primary and receive antennas sounded so different when switching
between them (K160RX is installed) and feared a 160m module or KNB2
construction problem.  That's when I discovered the preamp and attenuator
settings are separate for the two antennas.  Digging through the Rev. F
K2 manual I  found this on p. 113, "Options," under the K160RX and RX ANT
description:  "The receive antenna can have a separate preamp/attenuator
setting from the normal antenna (per-band)."

That's the only reference to this feature I've seen, if it's in the
K160RX Rev. C manual I missed it.  The separate preamp/attentuator
settings feature would be worth adding to the K160RX manual.

See, the more you operate this rig, the more features you discover!

John, N7ON K2/100 S/N 5023

Do the annunciators not make this obvious? I don't have K160RX, so have
no idea.
