Maxwell Equations

Perhaps the discussion means more to K1, K2, or KX1 users. :-)

But...point taken:  This is the "Ninty-Five-Percent K3 List".

I agree with Ron that the K3 "makes more noise", but there are other
Elecraft products too. As Eric (the one and only list moderator) has
mentioned in the past, the list will not be split.  This is an Elecraft
list, and not a K3. nor K2, nor K1, nor KX1 list (add the mini-modules),
it is the Elecraft list.

We are here to assist one another, so no matter what your Elecraft
product question may be, it is suitable material for this list.  There
are no "dumb questions" other than those questions that are not asked.

So if you have a KX1, K1, K2, K3 or mini-module question, this is the
place to list it and solicit answers.

It's actually very simple.

KX1 and K2 [and quite a few if not all] of the so-called "Mini-modules"
are mature Elecraft products.  There's not much they can do to them, nor
do I want them messing around with my two QRP radios, which I really
like, use, and love ... in the ham radio sense :-).  Most of the
postings for the K2 involve construction problems.

K3 is evolving, as will most radios in the future, I just happen to have
the best one.  It is not unreasonable that right now, it might dominate
the reflector ... other than James Clerk Maxwell.

I'm on a ton of lists and manage them with rules and folders.  Regarding this one, any incoming emails where subject contains [Elecraft] and KX1 are put in the Elecraft folder.  Any that contain [Elecraft] and not KX1 are put in the Trash.  That doesn't mean I don't scan those in the Trash (i.e. this thread).  It just means they're automatically dealt with.

I finally gave in and now have a filter sending any subject with K3 to the trash.
