Mic connector

What is the designation of the 8 pin microphone connector on the K-3?  I
plan to purchase a pair to make a patch cable to use my ICOM microphone
with the K-3

When I ask at my local toy store I just ask for an 8 pin mic connector,
either male of female. Its the only one they have.   I am not aware of a
specific designation.   Most rigs like Kenwood  TenTec and Icom with an
8 pin mic connector are physically the same just wired different for
different manufactures,
