Microkeyer II and K3

cptpatmcd
I know several of you out there have this set up, and this has been my second biggest purchase since the K3.  Only problem is, it's been no where near the 'plug and play' that everyone else says it's supposed to be.  Part of that is my fault, I'm running windows XP under VMware - but I cant trace this problem to that:

Instead of sending dashes, my K3 sends three dit's.  The cw light on the mkII indicates it's sending a dash- but that's not what the K3 hears apparently.

RIght now I've tried each setting on PTT selector but to no avail.  I'd ask on the MKII yahoo group, but it's down right now (or it is to my computer).

Help?
