Microkeyer

JayR
Just setting up my new K3 with sub receiver.
I have the Original Microkeyer and got the matching cable set for the K3
Question is:
There are two connectors that I do not know where to connect
1.RCA female marked "INHIBIT"
2. Female mini-plug marked "SUB RX"
Where do these go?
Thanks for any help
Jay

The female mini-plug marked “SUB RX” is for a 1/8” stereo cable that goes into the back of a microHAM MK2R or MK2R+ for subreceiver audio in.  The 37-pin cable was full, so that line was made separate.  I don’ t know the answer to the Inhibit question, but I would recommend you ask on the microHAM forum.

It's also useful with microKEYER II which is dual channel.

> I don' t know the answer to the Inhibit question,

The female RCA was added to the ACC plug in the most recent
revision of the cables so those who use Inhibit from an
amplifier (Alpha or Acom "Key Out", etc), microHAM Station
Master, inhibit from M2R/MK2R+, or an external sequencer do
not need to modify the ACC plug to add and extra cable.

If one us using an original microKEYER, a K3 without
subreceiver, or not using any external hardware that
might need to control the K3 inhibit line, both of the
pigtails can be ignored.
