Ross Biggar
I apologise to all for the bandwidth I am taking up, but I have often found it does help to write things down.

I have just tried SSB I can see the signal on the Winradio and hooking up the xvtr, I now have output.

The problem may be , under the CW letters on the right hand side of the screen is a letter T, this is not there if I move to USB.

So what does the T mean, and is it the reason I cannot send CW, if it is what control removes it?

Again, apologies for the bandwidth but this particular EME project started in Jan 2008, and is now "almost" completed, and I did want to check the
1296 mhz 500watt solid state amp which is driven by the transverter, and see how my 4.5m dish worked on tx.

Regards to all
Ross

the first question has already been answered by Dave.
The reason why you cannot send CW: maybe you forgot to activate VOX.
(besides operator related problems with sending CW like in my case...)
