Mt. Hood Oregon

Karl Anderson-2
Hi folks,
I'll be bringing a K1 on a 40mi. hike around Mt. Hood starting Monday
the 23rd. Next few days may be nasty wet, but hope to be operating on
40m & 20m evenings around 0100Z or 0200Z. Hope to catch some of you.

Thanks to all who tried to keep an ear out for me. Off the mountain now.

Unfortunately the only Elecraft rig worked was AD6GI, Chuck, K2 from
Sunnyvale.

The K1 worked flawlessly with 33' of wire in a tree and 17' on the
ground. Had to work from the tent because weather conditions were
horrible, visibility 100 yards and river crossings dangerous.
