Multicore solder available in limited quantity

Don Wilhelm-3
Hi Folks,

I just ordered some Multicore solder M00979  .020"  63/37  370 Flux. It used
to be Ersin Multicore, but now is owned by Heakel-Loctite.

I bought 20 rolls, and will have 15 or 16 to offer to folks here on the
reflector if you would like to stock up.  The industry is moving rapidly to
lead-free solder and I have found that stuff while adequate, is difficult to
work with.  I will keep 3 spools for myself, and hope that is a lifetime
supply, and a couple friends have said they want a spool.

If you want one, send me an e-mail (direct and with [Elecraft] removed from
the subject line) and I will reserve a spool for the first 15 requests.

I don't have a firm price right now because I don't have the shipping
charges, but I believe it will be more than $15 and less than $20 including
shipping to you via Priority Mail.

73,
Don W3FPR

  Don, I had no idea.
 I just ordered four 16 oz spools of Kester "44", 0.025" 60/40
from www.mcminone.com  -  part number 21-3195. They're somewhat
pricey but this is a lifetime investment.
