Well done, Alan. It's the mojo.
Amazing little radio, isn't it?
Now put a 30/80 board in there and be amazed all over again.

Subject: [Elecraft] My First KX1 QSO
I just finished my first Elecraft Kit, a KX1 with ATU. Hooked it to a G5RV
on 40 meters, called CQ and Malcolm EI8FH in Dublin answered my call. Talk
about a thrill!!. Elecraft kits are fun, plus the excitement of actually
talking to someone on the other side of the ocean on something I built, is
a high point in a 34 year ham career! Thanks Elecraft and VE1RGB and VE1DY
for pushing me in this direction. 73 Al
