My KPA500 has no 270v

tomb18
Well I just finished my kit and I power it up and press the HV button as instructed to, and I get .1V on the LCD. If I do press operate I get a hard fault of 270V error.
I checked the interlock switch and it's ok.  I also powered up the unit with the rear panel off and measured the actual 270V line (gray wire) and it measures 11 volts.  Sigh, without a schematic, I'm not sure where to go at this point.  I'll send an email to support but I guess I'll have to wait to the week days.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Tom

I removed the power supply and reassembled everything and the problem is gone.  It was not the interlock since this was tested.  All cables seemed ok.
Anyhow, thanks for all the help.

Just a thought, why isn't the schematic available on the Elecraft site.
What is the deal with worldwidedx?

The schematics used to be on the Elecraft site.
For some reason, they have been removed...

Guess they'll come up again some time!

I suspect they have been revised a few times since those were first posted and the revised ones are different enough that they pulled the originals to eliminate confusion.
