Guys - It is -totally- inappropriate and contrary to the Elecraft list
guidelines to send hate mails or personally critical emails to any
poster to the Elecraft list, on or off list, regardless of their opinions.

Its OK to disagree and argue enthusiastically on the merits, but please
do it politely.

If any of you directly attacked him via direct email, you owe him and
the rest of the list an apology.

Actually my KUSB works now.  I still paid $30.00 too much for it.

 

I am afraid to mention what the REAL problem was.

Just a comment from a satisfied KUSB cable user. One thing about the KUSB  
is it is about a meter long. No extension cable, just from the computer USB
to  the KK3, no adapters or gender changers. I have used it on two XPE
laptops. I  also have 2 other brands USB cables that work except they are less
than a foot  long and need an extension to work.
The KUSB is well made. Molded covers both ends plus the cable is well  
shielded, covered with a clear coating  so you can see if the cable is  fraded
