Just completed inventory of both modules. Both kits complete.
Guess I'll start assembly tonite. Have a transceiver from
Wilderness Radio on order (SST 40m version). And hope to
complete at least three "working rigs" before I attempt to
build the K1. Any suggestions for "beginner kits" as a
prelude to building the K1 would be welcome.

Suggestion for beginners?  If you're building Elecraft kits, I have one
suggestion.

Relax.

It really isn't all that hard if you have the basic skills.

my biggest advice would be...

take you time.. don't try to second guess the manual..

read the section you are building first.. all the way through..

then start building..

and relax...

these kits rock..
