At what price for additional port and software. Just because it can
be done do we really need it? To me QRP was minimal radio, power
and the sheer fun of communicating. It is a hobby I enjoy because it
gets away from computers...

I really doubt that last sentence. Do you have proof this will be the
case--something like surveying the authors of most of the
logging/contesting programs out there and getting their opinion.
