New 40 meter "unofficial K-3 group" on west coast debuted last night

Ron Midwin
Fellow K-3 owners

Last night a group of us were on 7.203 MHz ~ 8 p.m. PDT, and we began
discussing our K-3's.  most of us were in the Southern California area, but
stations as far away as Calgary and Utah showed up.

N7EL, El came on, as was WE6A, Doc, a brand new K-3 owner.  By 9:45, the
group had expanded to include KI6PYZ, AD7IS, W6ODT, VE6ACO & VE6CB (Frank, a
regular on our group but not a K-3 owner.yet)

We covered lots of ground and I thought we might try to meet whenever 2 of
more K-3 owners show up, so if you're able to hear us, jump in.

Nothing official; no check-ins, but lots of good Elecraft K-3 discussions.

BTW, 7.203 is just a place we found a clear spot.  We can be anywhere from
7.175 - 7.220 depending on conditions, and we can move as required.

73,
