Flawless performance from 5 a.m. this morning right through 10 p.m. this evening when I shut down for the night. The ATU tracked the K3's RX frequency perfectly and all across the bands
And never once initiated a tune on TX RF.
As of shutdown, I had just shy of 250 QSO's search & pounce only . I'd have done much better but my ancient Ham-M rotator shot craps with the beam pointed dead South!
The only saving grace was propagation. It was so long I was even hearing my own echo's and all signals from the far North and South were growly almost like Auroral propagation sounds on six meters. The last time I heard ten and fifteen sound like this was when I was stationed in Northern Japan back in 1964.
