I'm happy to report that K3/100 #3294 is running superbly. This is my
second K3 - the first was #77. The 756Pro3 is now back it its box and
in the storage room. I must say, though, that the spectrum display on
the pro is excellent. I feel sort of blinded without it. Being able to
actually see the band adds a complete new dimension to using a radio.
I'm really hoping the rumors of an Elecraft pan-adapter are true.
Ideally an LED illuminated, full-color LCD panel about 5 inches wide.
But, really, a good mono LCD would be just fine. Give it controls to
adjust brightness, contrast and bandwidth and I would have everything I
need. I don't want or need full mouse support, click to change
frequencies or any of the other functions that would require building in
a serious processor. I just want the visual element back that I find so
appealing in the Pro3. Just my thoughts.
