Both the K3 and XV144 manuals do not give the details to build an interface cable between K3 (with KXV3) and XV144.

Can anybody help and show me where to get the information?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I did read p.9 of the XV144 operation manual.  However, it only shows the interface cable from XV144 to KI02 of K2 and NOT K3.

>From reading of the K3 manual, the RS232 socket has a different usage in K3 and the wiring is not similar to KI02. Is my understanding correct?  If yes, where can I find similar diagram as that in p.9 of the XV144 manual for building the interface cable between XV144 and K3.

Check the reflector archives for the past 3 days.  The cable wiring
required was discussed then in several posts.
