Nickel Zinc Batteries

Anyone tried these in AA size? There seem to both advantages and disadvantages.

I had bought a 4 pack, with matching charger, a few years ago, and regretted
wasting my money. I've seen others have luck with them, but they self-discharged
so quickly they couldn't be counted on in any device more than a couple weeks.

I'm sticking with Eneloops.
