No RTFM

Edward R Cole
Pretty funny, Wayne.

I have long been one of the "unofficial" technical advisors on
another reflector and over the years the same questions come up over
and over.  Many give opinions how to improve the system by use of FAQ
pages or mini-tutorials, etc., etc. But in the final analysis there
is no prefect cure for the lack of reading the manual.  Its human
behavior to skip the manual (or so it seems).

So the official TS folks and the ex-official "experts" will have to
smile and repeat the advice, forever.  I can see there are several
very generous and patient soles on this reflector doing just
that.  Thankyou - Thankyou!

In my "professional" life I worked as a technical writer of manuals
and have been an OJT instructor.  Training is going over the same
"basics" on a regular schedule to "refresh" the memory of the user,
and to instruct the newcomers that come along.

The rest of us should be glad for that service.
