About the noise blanker: Mine is working fine on all bands except for a particular noise on 40 m. It is killed completly by the NB on all other bands. But it seems that the gain is not always (works some time) sufficient to trigger it at 7,050 MHz. That noise is rising to full strength in about 3 seconds or so, then vanish after about 10 seconds.
I plan to change C16 to a higher value (better coupling to the amp stage). My question: is it a good (or the best/only) way to add some gain to the blanker?
