OT - Automotive Radars - operation in the 76-81GHz

Local Hong Kong Telecom Authority is now seeking views of automotive radars operating in the 76-81GHz.  There are existing amateur radio bands within 76-81GHz.   Regrettably, I have never had any experience in these bands (I must honestly admit that I have limited knowledge in these bands).  Could any of you advise me whether there are compatability issues between automotive radars and amateur radio services?

Your expert technical advice is the most appreciated.  Please reply off-the-list.
