Thanks to so many for the suggestions. I don't think I'd put up with the extra hassle of twin lead for any less than 3db, which is about what I am seeing in my mocked up installation. Here is a word to the wise for those doing a stealth setup, don't worry as much about absolute height of the antenna as much as getting the feedpoint out into the clear. Even a high feedpoint in the ground clutter is worse than a lower feedpoint in a clear area. That having been said, get the feedpoint as high as possible, and mock up what seems right in as many places as you can try. In my personal experience, the difference can be dramatic, and some places you would never consider in a million years turn out to be a sweet spot. In the end, for condo dwellers, the ideal feedpoint may generally be hundreds of feed away and if you are tuning it - that means balanced line (twin lead.)

I know it doesn't answer the question you asked, but RG-8/RG-213 has a
loss of about 0.85 dB/100 ft at 20m. Your 3:1 SWR will add a little
less than 0.4 dB additional loss for a total loss of 1.25 dB. Is the
added hassle of running balanced line worth the extra 1.1 dB? Are
there other reasons you want to use balanced line?
