That someone was me. I agree with Don W3FPR. Yours was almost definitely a phishing attempt.
Mine was different. I couldn't login to my email account. I called them, not the other way around.
They had locked my account because of the number of bounces I received. Once they unlocked it,
I could see the bounced messages. My account probably wasn't hacked after all. My email
address was probably in someone's address book on a computer with a virus. The virus sends out
spam using addresses in the address book as the From: and To:
