[OT] HRO Sunnyvale

Bill Frantz
When I was trying to get the Yaesu FTM-10 installed in my Miata
to receive AM broadcast, HRO Sunnyvale let me run through 4 or 5
2M-70cm whips to find one that would allow AM reception. I ended
up with a small Larson whip and a lot of respect for a store
which would let me take the antennas out to the parking lot to
try them with the radio.

I agree! All HRO Sunnyvale folks are super helpful and HRO prices are
typically the cheapest in the ham radio sellers list.

I wish they stocked and sold Elecraft products that you could touch, feel,
drool and then go back and buy. <--- Hint Hint @Wayne ;)
