OT Ham Radio Presentation to local 4 H club

My kids are involved in 4 H. I'll be hosting this Sunday's meeting and
giving a talk about HAM radio. The talk will be followed by on air activity,
which will be more fun if we find some stations to work!  See below if you'd
like to encourage some kids about our hobby.

 

What: HAM station demonstration

Audience: local 4 H club (mostly kids aged 10 - 14)

Station: KD0HII, Des Moines, Iowa

Date: Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012

Time: approx 03:30 CT (2130 Zulu) - might start a few minutes later, depends
on various factors.

On Air: Hope to call CQ and let the kids work some stations

Frequency: on or about 14.3035
