At last nights presentation of "The Wide, Wide World of Amateur Radio," a woman dropped off her two very young daughters and then left--thinking I wouldn't mind babysitting them without even talking to me.
The girls were quite animated, and did ask some questions. When the talk was over, I told the girls to tell mommy that I said they each needed a fully-loaded, factory-built Elecraft K3 and that I said mommy should buy them the radios.
Don't even think about it.
