OT K2 speech compressor

I would like to use an analogue  speech compressor like the one in the K2 SSM2165 but I see it is now obsolete.  Can anyone recommend an alternative?  

In amateur applications of modest compression, is there much difference between the -1 and -2 types?  I'm told a few of the lower gain versions are still about.
