OT: Meet the bag lady at Visalia (:-)

Stop at the Elecraft booth at Visalia next week-end and meet
Rose, N7HKW the Elecraft cover and bag lady.  She'll have
samples of her products, along with samples of Dave, W8FGU's
clear plastic Elecraft Mini-Module housings.  Dave has added a
new Elecraft HexKey cover that's really nice.

Dave, W8FGU, is a good friend of mine, and he's had me "beta testing" a
couple of his creations -- a clear case for the W1 wattmeter, and the
Hexkey cover.  I believe his cases are available in both clear and
smoked versions.  In addition to keeping the dust off, the Hexkey cover
has a second advantage ... my Hexkey tends to move around just a little
on the surface of the desk.  When installed in the cover, the cover is
solid on the desk, and the paddle is solid on the base of the cover.

I asked Dave about making a smoked W1 enclosure for
me a few weeks ago and I now have the first one.  It will
be on display at Visalia, along with other cases by Dave.

Dave's HexKey cover has a bottom that the paddle is set
in before the cover is placed over the key ... a nice feature ...
and the feet are "stickier" that those on the key, as Fred has
mentioned .  It amounts to a fully-enclosed "case" for the key.

I've printed a stack of brochures for Dave and will have them
at Visalia.
