For Sale, Jackson Harbor Press "Island Keyer", latest version. Completely built, tested and mounted in a Radio Shack aluminum box. Not very pretty, but rugged and really works well. I also added the 6 switch kit (no longer available from Jackson Harbor) for ease of construction which placed all 6 memory and function switches in a straight line on it's own PC board for reliability. The keyer runs on 3 AAA batteries and I didn't include an on/off switch as the batteries last pretty close to shelf life. I use the internal keyer in my rig now and don't need this one any more, so offering it up here.
The paddle jack is 1/8" stereo with tip=dot and ring=dash with the sleeve, of course, being common or ground. The keying output jack is 1/8" mono and there are two 1/8" mono key input jacks that can be used for a straight key or any other external keying device. Comes in handy if you have more than one straight key or a bug or a left footed key - whatever. The keyer memories can actually be loaded with a straight key and commands can also be set with a straight key. Very versatile. Everything is spelled out in the manual which is included.
I also added a 1 transistor speaker amplifier and speaker for the sidetone (can be turned off with a command if you'd rather use the sidetone in the rig).
Asking $35 shipped in the US for everything. Please respond off list if you are interested and the first "I'll take it" gets it.
