Kamikaze Gardener." All is well with a "real" serial port from this
desktop. All is not well with at least two USB-Serial adapters from
here or either of our laptops. I also tried the one from Elecraft
[Prolific] which works fine everywhere else.
Clearly, all serial ports are not created equal.
