OT-SLA Battery advice

I got 3 replace, 2 test (but then replace anyway) and 1 test.

a) To test: Charge it up, discharge it to 11 volts, compute percentage of 7
AH.
b) To dump: load into truck, drive to recycling center, unload where it says
"Batteries".

I'll go with option b). Shame the freight would be more than their value.
I'd be happy to send the "good" ones to a new home, but with new ones at
$16, there's not much way I can see to get them anywhere except local.

They would be saved here in South Florida...
 
Any 12 sla or otherwise was useful after Wilma
hit Boynton Beach here.  Power was finally restored to
Pahokee in the western part of Palm Beach County yesterday,
110 days after the storm.
