a) To test: Charge it up, discharge it to 11 volts, compute percentage of 7
AH.
b) To dump: load into truck, drive to recycling center, unload where it says
"Batteries".
I'll go with option b). Shame the freight would be more than their value.
I'd be happy to send the "good" ones to a new home, but with new ones at
$16, there's not much way I can see to get them anywhere except local.
