OT: Satellite operation

One of those "Been there, done that" situations ...

Satellite operation can get very boring very quickly.  They are very
predictable and you're likely to work everyone else in a short time.

DX?  They're usually only a relative few miles away.  Have even worked as a
mobile ... Ho Hum

looking at his QSL card,
i made one sat contact ...my one & only :  w9nkf  Oscar 6 orbit#
19240,  had my keyer ptting my IC 22S....   the hiss came up on 10
meters  and I worked my next door neighbor...    easy
peasy....  22elements pointed south ...
...my sense was fishing in the HF pond was more fun that the repeater
in the sky,
that was dec 30 1976
