This is not directly related to the K3 - which I am very happy with - but TRX works with the K3 AND my SteppIR - so thought it might be of interest... also - my next project is to get Laurent F6DEX to
FULLY - and I mean FULLY implement all the possible controls of the K3.

This new addition to TRX gives you full control of the SteppIR - beam and vertical from your computer screen - including 'home' and 'calibrate' at a button press - something I have wished for a long time.
It is not perfect - as the SteppIR RS-232 protocol is not a complete set because there is not enough memory left to get it all in - but it works very well.
TRX is not free - but does have a 30 day trial.
