Off Topic - help needed Urgent !

Hi all,

I hope every one is fine and hanging in there despite the downturn.A friend of mine needs some help. Her company is organizing a cultural event and they want to show case picture postcards from all over the world.

We as Hams have been using QSL cards and have been helping promote international bonding both on and off air. I think this presents us with another opportunity to do so.

Do you think it will be possible for you to extend a helping hand?

Please send the cards at the address mentioned below.The cost towards the cards and postage will be reimbursed.

PS: The date of the event is December 03-2008.

Dear classmate,

I know that what I am now going to ask sounds rather absurd in the midst of classes, applications, interviews and exploring Barcelona.

My hope is that you - via contacts in your home country - can help me get hold of postcards from all over the world. As you know, I am still doing some odd projects for my company back home, and in the beginning of december, we ar having an event with culture in focus. In that connection, I need postcards - blank ones! I hope that each of you will get one of your friends or family members to buy and send (express) 10 postcards from your country (rather than your town, but town is also usable). Do you have ties to more than one country (through an international background or through spouse, etc.), I will be interested in all of the possible contributions.

Of course they should be reimbused for this, so if they send an e-mail to me ([hidden email]) or to my colleague, Helle ([hidden email]), including their contact data, their bank details and their expenses, we will wire the money asap. And I will always be in debt to them and to you. The blank postcards should be sent in an envelope to:
