I am trying to get my K3 set up properly for remote and digital operations with Power SDR and I am stuck.
My working conditions from an IT perspective consist of the following: Dell laptop with i3 processor 4gb ram lame internal soundcard LP Panadapter and 0204 soundcard Running LP bridge, full HRD and Power SDR Rigblaster advantage I only have two USB ports on the laptop and I am using an four port extension and a gigaware FDTI serial to USB cable to the laptop. I have Power SDR running but not with full capability and rig control. If anyone could contact me offline to walk me through my setup I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks, Keith AG6AZ Sent from my iPhone please excuse typos ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Keith,
May I suggest something different than PowerSDR - Use NaP3 which is more "K3centric". It can be downloaded from www.telepost.com. There is installation help on that website. Also sign up for the LP-Pan Yahoo Group to keep up with the development of NaP3 and other situations with LP-Pan and LP-Bridge. 73, Don W3FPR On 1/27/2012 11:17 AM, Keith Heimbold wrote: > I am trying to get my K3 set up properly for remote and digital operations with Power SDR and I am stuck. > > My working conditions from an IT perspective consist of the following: > > Dell laptop with i3 processor 4gb ram lame internal soundcard > LP Panadapter and 0204 soundcard > Running LP bridge, full HRD and Power SDR > Rigblaster advantage > > I only have two USB ports on the laptop and I am using an four port extension and a gigaware FDTI serial to USB cable to the laptop. > > I have Power SDR running but not with full capability and rig control. Fred and all,
Sorry, I forgot 3 little letters. The correct URL is http://www.telepostinc.com. 73, Don W3FPR On 1/27/2012 3:46 PM, Fred Townsend wrote: > Is your URL for telepost accurate?
