Old Synth Boards

Jim Wilson
Also, if you've ever wondered about your handling
of surface mounted devices (SMD) the old synth
boards are full of SMDs. With some desoldering wick
you can remove devices and replace them without
any worry of doing harm. Good practice.

Later, you can still recycle the boards.

Re: Old Synth Boards

Say, does the new synthesizer have the same footprint as the old
synthesizer or is it an entirely different device? Maybe even from a
different manufacturer?

Re: Old Synth Boards

Nr4c
Well it uses the same socket and screw holes and fits both the K3 and K3s. Looks about the same size.
