Old Technology says "Hello" to Modern Technology, XG3.....!

I have some Collins S-Line equipment and have set them up again after moving my shack inside the house from the garage. I have the XG3, but do not use it much on the modern equipment I have. I have the Collins KWM-2A and a 75S-3B and thought I would set their S meters to read S9 for a 50 uV signal, a little contrary to Collins recommended level of 100 uV for S9. What better way to do this than use the XG3! The 75S-3B was pretty close, but the KWM-2A was about 2- 3 S units high. After a quick twist of a pot, they both now read S9 for a 50 uV signal into each antenna port.

I need to hurry and turn off the Collins equipment, as they have raised the ambient temperature of the shack a noticeable amount after being on 30 minutes and I didn't even have the 32S-3 or 30L-1 ON!
