You need to get that right .... do the manual 5 and 50 watt
calibrations on 20 meters before doing the K3 Utility gain
set calibrations.  

Note you are seeing almost exactly twice the 42 watts ... the
calibration assumes the 5 and 50 watt levels are accurate so
2 x 42 = 84 ... the utility believes it is doing 2 x 50 = 100.

That's correct. I'll bet that solves it. Of course, that assumes that you believe your own power meter more than you trust Elecraft's measurements. I would have thought that the factory had better equipment than that owned by the average ham, so I would be inclined to believe that any discrepancy was the fault of my equipment not theirs.

Do built K3s come with a checklist of all the measurements made at the factory?
