Optical Encoder problem:

n9bx-2
Still no adjustment, or frequency change.

In the Elecraft Manual page 108 under Front Pnel Board, 4th paragraph
down it says.  "The Encoder can be turned off By U3 to save current
under certain operating conditions".  Does any one have any Idea what
this means?  And also how would you try and turn it Back On.

RE: Optical Encoder problem:

While this is a fact, it is not under user control.  Do not be concerned
about it.  The firmware should reactivate the encoder when it is moved.
